Brewing with a cafetière is done without a filter, which preserves the precious natural oils that are normally absorbed and takes the full flavour out of the ground coffee beans. In addition, the cafetière ensures a full and rich consistency.

The Bialetti coffee press has a capacity of 1 litre and is suitable for a maximum of 8 cups. The pot is made of glass with a plastic base and lid and a metal sieve.

Making coffee with a cafetière:
1. Rinse the jug with hot water.
2. Put the coffee in the jug.
3. Fill the jug with water that has just been boiled.
4. Stir well, but carefully.
5. Put the piston on the jug to avoid losing any heat, but don't push it yet.
6. Let the coffee brew for about 4 minutes.
7. Slowly push the piston through the coffee with little force.
8. The coffee can now be poured.
